Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Metal Ops, LLC, doing business as Metal Ops Custom Roofing Systems (“Metal Ops,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of contractors, homeowners, business contacts, and website visitors. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with metal-ops.com, quote and material requests, custom fabrication orders, training registrations, and related customer communications.

Personal information includes information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Business contact information and project records can also contain personal information. This policy describes our practices; visiting our website or submitting a quote request does not, by itself, constitute consent to promotional text messages.

Privacy questions or requests: Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call 772-278-6654.

1. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us:

  • Contact and business details: Your name, company name, email address, telephone number, and billing, shipping, or other contact addresses.
  • Project and order details: Job-site addresses, roof measurements, panel profiles, materials, colors, quantities, fabrication dates, custom trim specifications, delivery placement, access instructions, and information needed to prepare estimates or fulfill orders.
  • Files you provide: Drawings, plans, cut sheets, satellite roof reports, photographs, and other files submitted for estimating, fabrication, or support. These files may contain property-owner information, addresses, or identifying details.
  • Communications and preferences: Messages, requests, feedback, training registrations, marketing preferences, and records of consent or opt-out requests. If you apply for a position, we may receive the application information you choose to provide.
  • Transaction and service records: Quotes, orders, invoices, delivery records, and correspondence about payments, product questions, or warranty matters, where relevant to our relationship.
  • Website and device information: IP address, browser and device information, referring pages or advertisements, pages viewed, interaction times, and cookie or similar identifiers. This information may be linked to a device or individual; it is not necessarily anonymous.

We receive information directly from you, automatically through website technologies, and from people involved in a project, such as a contractor submitting an order for a property owner. Only provide another person’s information when you are authorized to do so.

Share only what is needed. Remove unrelated personal details from plans, photographs, and reports before uploading them. Do not send Social Security numbers, full payment-card details, bank credentials, or sensitive personal documents through general contact forms or ordinary email. For site access, provide only the instructions necessary for the delivery and contact us if those instructions change.

2. How we use information

  • Respond to questions and prepare estimates, material takeoffs, and custom fabrication specifications.
  • Process orders, coordinate production, pickup and delivery, and maintain transaction records.
  • Provide product information, technical assistance, training, customer service, and warranty support.
  • Communicate about the request, order, appointment, or service you asked us to handle.
  • Send product news, offers, or training information, subject to your choices and any consent required for the communication channel.
  • Understand website performance and marketing effectiveness, improve our services, and prevent spam, fraud, misuse, or security incidents.
  • Review applications you submit, meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

A request for a quote may require email or telephone follow-up to clarify measurements, specifications, or delivery needs. Requesting that follow-up does not enroll you in unrelated promotional messaging.

3. When information is disclosed

We may disclose information to the following recipients for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Service providers: Businesses that support website hosting, security, forms, communications, analytics, customer records, payment administration, or other business operations.
  • Order and project participants: Fabrication, supply, delivery, and other parties as needed to fulfill your request or order. Relevant details may include contact information, specifications, job-site addresses, and delivery instructions.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: When reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, insurance, fraud-prevention, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes, or to comply with applicable law and valid legal process.
  • Business successors: If information is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable law and the protections that apply to the information.
  • Other recipients you authorize: When you request or specifically permit a disclosure.

We do not sell or provide the information we collect to outside third parties for their direct or indirect mass email marketing. The additional restrictions on mobile information and text-message consent below apply to all of the sharing categories in this policy.

4. Text messages and mobile information

With your consent, Metal Ops may text you about quotes, orders, deliveries, support, or other subjects identified when you opt in. Promotional texts require a separate affirmative opt-in. Providing a number or accepting this policy alone is not promotional-text consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out, or contact [email protected] or 772-278-6654. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. For assistance, contact us at those same details. Tell us if your number changes or is reassigned.

Mobile numbers, text-message opt-in data, and consent records will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. They may be disclosed to providers solely to operate and deliver our messaging service, or when legally required. These exceptions do not authorize independent marketing. We may retain consent and suppression records to document your choices and prevent further unwanted messages.

5. Cookies, analytics, and connected services

Our website uses cookies, scripts, and similar technologies to operate features, protect forms, understand visits, and measure marketing results. These tools may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing activity, and referral information. A provider may associate that information with other information it holds under its own privacy policy.

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: Used for website analytics and managing measurement tags. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • CallRail: The website includes call-attribution technology to help connect telephone inquiries with marketing sources. This can involve website visit information and call details. If a call is recorded, any required recording notice or consent will be provided in connection with that call.
  • Website security: Hosting and anti-spam services, including Cloudflare and Google services where used, may process technical and interaction information to detect abuse and protect the website.
  • Roof visualization and media: The site links to or includes RoofKit and other third-party tools or media. Information you provide to those services, including uploaded property photos, may also be governed by their own privacy notices.

You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and manage permissions. Some features may not work without certain cookies. The Google Analytics add-on addresses Google Analytics specifically; it does not disable every website technology. Where a third-party service offers its own privacy or advertising settings, you can also manage your preferences with that provider.

Depending on the technologies used and the law that applies, disclosures for advertising may fall within legal definitions of “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising,” even without a payment for the information. Contact us using the privacy-request details below to ask about these practices or exercise an applicable opt-out right. Traditional browser “Do Not Track” settings should not be assumed to disable our website’s tracking technologies.

6. Email and contact preferences

You can unsubscribe from promotional email through the unsubscribe link in a message, or ask us to stop promotional communications by email or telephone. Please identify the email address or number affected. We may still send non-promotional information needed for an active order, a request you made, or a legal obligation. Text-message opt-outs are handled as described above.

7. How long we keep information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. The appropriate period depends on the type of record, whether a quote or order remains active, the duration of our customer relationship, product and warranty needs, applicable accounting or legal requirements, disputes, and security needs.

Not every record has the same retention period. For example, an order or warranty record may need to be retained longer than a routine inquiry. We may retain limited opt-out information to honor a request not to contact you. You can ask about retention or request deletion using the contact details below; legal and legitimate recordkeeping exceptions may apply.

8. Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Access is intended for personnel and providers who need the information for their work. Our website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit between your browser and the website.

No website, email system, or method of storage can guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe information you provided to Metal Ops has been misused or exposed. Do not include passwords or sensitive identity documents in your initial report.

9. Your privacy choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about your information, request access or correction, request deletion, or change your communication preferences. Depending on where you live, the information involved, and whether a privacy law applies to Metal Ops, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy of your information, opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive information, or appeal a decision.

Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request”, call 772-278-6654, or write to the address below. Describe your request and how you have interacted with us. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf where permitted by law.

We may need to verify your identity or an agent’s authority before providing or changing personal information. We request only verification information reasonably necessary for that purpose. We will respond within applicable legal time limits, explain any applicable exception, and provide information about an available appeal process. To request an appeal, contact us with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights protected by applicable law.

10. Children and visitors outside the United States

Our website and roofing-supply services are intended for adults and business users, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and address it.

Metal Ops operates in the United States. If you visit from another country, information may be processed in the United States and in locations where our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Other websites and services

Links to third-party websites, roof visualizers, social platforms, and embedded services do not make their privacy practices part of our own. Review the provider’s privacy notice before entering information or uploading project files. This policy does not replace a separate privacy notice that may be provided for a particular service or application.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before making a material change to how information is used. Updating this policy does not itself create consent for promotional messages.
